I sometimes feel jealous about other people who are better than me?
for instance, people who have a better life than me, I always want to get want others have. Am I a bad hearted person? I know it but I just can’t stop thinking about it. When I see my friends having something new or expensive, I feel envy and wish I would afford to have those things. I even tell lies to my friends, even my very best friend who trust me with all his heart. I always think of myself as a failure. Also, I am always forced to do something I don’t like by my parents. They never understand me enough and I never tell them about my thoughts. I sometimes wish I had been put to an orphange and someone rich and nice might have adopted me and I wouldn’t had have to tell lies to anyone to get what I want or felt jelous about others.
you know what? bullshit!…you aren’t forced to tell lies…you tell them because you want to tell them. You don’t dislike these things about yourself either…if you did, you’d change them…getting jealous over something someone else has is just plain stupid!…if you want it…get off your ass and get out there..work for what you want…stop expecting things to be handed to you…this is life…get used to it…or go without..

How do i raise my self-esteem..?
I am not confident enough with myself..
I get really jealous with this guy who my best friends met.. Hes good at everything.. So my friends might chose him rather than me..
how do i raise my self-esteem so that i wont feel intimidated and will feel good about myself and not feel out of place..???
positive self-talk does a lot for people. keep repeating that you CAN do something. not only that, sit down somewhere quiet, close your eyes, slow yours breaths and then picture yourself in a situation you don’t feel comfortable in, take in and recognize all of the emotions you feel when you recognize you aren’t comfortable. then you can go two ways. i would suggest doing both of these because it helps you get to know yourself and your limits and potential better but its personal choice. once you’ve realized what makes you nervous about something, change the picture in your head. Instead of feeling nervous, picture yourself being confident, repeating "I am strong, I am confident"
(or something along those lines) and then picture yourself succeeding in the situation you were nervous in. imagine how you would feel to be able to not be intimidated, didn’t feel out of place etc.
another thing to do might be to think about what your place should be for you. its normal to feel out of place but recognizing if it really should bother you or not goes a long way to feeling more confident.
good luck. and remember, you are worth it. You can do it. and, you are not alone.

How do I stop my jealousy?
Ok, so it’s always been evident that my friend and I have been jealous of each other. But I seem to be the one not able to overcome it. I’m not even sure what I’m jealous of, just that it’s hard to feel happy for her. Maybe it’s that she has more close friends than i do. But she always says I have more friends. She even said once that my life was perfect.
But she is able to congratulate me whole heartedly when something good happens to me. Rather, when something good happens to her, I seem to be in a bad mood.
How an I stop myself from being so jealous?
Tell yourself life has its up and downs, and you girls will be there for each other. Remind yourself that life is not a competition but a struggle that needs all the support you can have to make it through.

This is just me giving my 2 cents on MapleTheory’s latest whine-fest. If you don’t like what you’re doing, do something different. Stop being jealous of real animators who do productive things with their time.

How can I stop feeling jealous of other people?
Well, simply put I am a teenage girl and I am sick of hearing that all of my friends got freaking iPods, laptops, video games, clothes, and makeup while I got nothing. But I know that’s not what Christmas is about and I shouldn’t be jealous. But I AM really jealous, I wish I could have had something there for me under the Christmas tree. My family couldn’t afford to get me anything though and I know I should deal with the fact that my family is less fortunate.
How can I deal with it and stop feeling jealous of other people?
All i got was a book
so i know what your feeling right now

How can I stop feeling so insanely jealous?
I’m especially jealous of the friendship between the guy friend of mine I kinda ‘like’ and this other girl who is really intelligent and older than us (he likes older girls, apparently). I want to be satisfied that I’m his friend and not long to be something more.
It can be really hard to quell a crush on a guy you really like, especially if you are around him alot. I dont think you should count yourself out yet, but if you feel like you’ll never get with him, you should find a new muse

having homicidal thoughts? how can i stop this?
5 months ago i was different and happier and loved people. now it’s like i look at someone and i’m either jealous cuz of their lives or i just wanna go and hurt them. it scares me because i know im a good person at heart. i hate these urges. my mom is a very angry person and she’s always telling me she hates me as a daughter and wishes i wasn’t hers and hates how i am. she’s always angry and i don’t have a mom to talk to. my dad is never around and when he is he spaces out like something’s wrong with him. my family is falling apart. i have so much stress and guilt from things i did mistakes and now i have feelings of being worthless. i feel like my mom carried me to the edge. she makes me cry and everything. also everyone ignores me. im starting to be so stressed from not going out im starting to think i hear things telling me to do stuff or im about to see things. im scared and no one cares. i had suicidal thougts b4 but now im only having homicidal. im really scared. could my mom and me be bipolar? i also have these thoughts and i feel like they aren’t mine or i cringe at what i think like why would i tell myself that? example: "jail doesn’t scare me that much so i might as well kill or something." stuff like that. it makes me cry.
Go to your family doctor and tell them what you are thinking and why you are thinking that way. Let him know what kindof mistakes you feel that youve made in order for the stress to come about in the family. Ask him whether the disconnection between yourself and your father might have something to do with how you are feeling. Let the doctor know that you are feeling ignored by everyone.

When someone is jealous does it mean one has low self-esteem?
or could it mean somthing else
It does usually mean a person has a low self-esteem. But it can mean something else. But nine times out of ten it’s low self-esteem. Try to build up the others self-esteem. Reassure this person that they are the only one or what the problem is.

How do you stop feeling and being jealous?
This officially is a disease seriously!!
Please help! this guy friend that I really like brought over a girl to my house last night…well, I’m not sure but I think I kept hearing a girl’s voice..so I didn’t open the door and pretended not to be home. I felt sooo bad for that but…how do you stop being jealous over something this silly?

You really need to block yourself off from the issue if it is causing a problem. Focus your thoughts on something constructive and try to ignore it. He obviously doesn’t like you in that way if he’s not paying you any attention and jealously towards him is unnecessary. Your better than that, forget about the idiot and look for someone that truly likes you, someone you can benefit from and grow with. People become jealous all the time it’s what we choose to do with it. You can’t change what happened, you just need to accept it, move on and look at the positives.

How can I stop feeding off of jealousy?
I get a ‘thrill’ in a relationship when someone is jealous. I do things that I know will make them jealous and then play dumb to it but I don’t know what makes me feel the need to make them jealous? Is there something I can tell myself or do to stop this from happening? Whatever need it fulfils is there another way of fulfilling it without being quite so devious?
I don’t know but my boyfriend does this and it’s because he is insecure. So fix your insecurities and you’ll stop making ppl jealous. You do it to prove to yourself that your partner really wants to be with you. If you did something and they didn’t care any more you wouldn’t know what to do!
