I sometimes feel jealous about other people who are better than me?
for instance, people who have a better life than me, I always want to get want others have. Am I a bad hearted person? I know it but I just can’t stop thinking about it. When I see my friends having something new or expensive, I feel envy and wish I would afford to have those things. I even tell lies to my friends, even my very best friend who trust me with all his heart. I always think of myself as a failure. Also, I am always forced to do something I don’t like by my parents. They never understand me enough and I never tell them about my thoughts. I sometimes wish I had been put to an orphange and someone rich and nice might have adopted me and I wouldn’t had have to tell lies to anyone to get what I want or felt jelous about others.
you know what? bullshit!…you aren’t forced to tell lies…you tell them because you want to tell them. You don’t dislike these things about yourself either…if you did, you’d change them…getting jealous over something someone else has is just plain stupid!…if you want it…get off your ass and get out there..work for what you want…stop expecting things to be handed to you…this is life…get used to it…or go without..

What is the best way to stop jealousy?
Someone eles is jealousy of me.
You can’t control other people’s jealousy (or anything else for that matter). The best way is to simply ignore it. Ignore any hateful comments or anything else from the person who is jealous.
I had a co-worker like that, she used to jab at me all day long about my clothes or weight or whatever because she couldn’t keep a boyfriend and I was getting married. I just learned to stop even acknowledging her comments. Now she’s left the company! Yay!

I am very jealous over my cousin and my friends sometimes how do I stop and just be fine with who i am cause it does ruin your life.

Know how you feel! Just remember that you’re just as good as them.
Question why you’re feeling the way you are and then maybe talk to them about it, even make a joke out of the whole thing.

Okay, I have this guy who isn’t serious always, He told me I love you not in a serious way, so we’ve confusions if it’s true or not. Our peeps together with him were talking about something, then, one of my friends said that I’m the wife of some other guy which is my classmate too, and then, he freaked out, like, staring at my friend badly. Then, when my friend said, he’s my husband, he stopped on staring badly…and back to talk to us again. Is he really jealous??

Well there’s this girl, her name is Jess. Shes really outgoing and everyone loves her. I like her as well because she is one of my best friends. How can someone stop being jealous of a girl or boyfriends sexual history?
I am with my girlfriend for 2 months now and i was the one she gave her virginity to, but i am a bit jealous because when i asked her about some of her past, she told me that she performed oral on her ex twice and that one of the time he came in her mouth.
I know it’s childish, but it hurts a bit imagining the one i love doing that to someone else. What can i do?
i understand where you are coming from….my boyfriend is the same way and has the same feelings about certain things. just dont hold it against her…she cant change her past and either can you..if you dont like it then you shouldnt be with her….you cant hold that kind of stuff against her it will just hurt your relationship…talk about it with her one last time (being very sensitive) and then let it go…it will be the best thing

It does usually mean a person has a low self-esteem. But it can mean something else. But nine times out of ten it’s low self-esteem. Try to build up the others self-esteem. Reassure this person that they are the only one or what the problem is.

Please help! this guy friend that I really like brought over a girl to my house last night…well, I’m not sure but I think I kept hearing a girl’s voice..so I didn’t open the door and pretended not to be home. I felt sooo bad for that but…how do you stop being jealous over something this silly?
You really need to block yourself off from the issue if it is causing a problem. Focus your thoughts on something constructive and try to ignore it. He obviously doesn’t like you in that way if he’s not paying you any attention and jealously towards him is unnecessary. Your better than that, forget about the idiot and look for someone that truly likes you, someone you can benefit from and grow with. People become jealous all the time it’s what we choose to do with it. You can’t change what happened, you just need to accept it, move on and look at the positives.
