So i’ve got a few basic questions to ask about the UK, i’m going to be landing in London (from Melbourne) on 17th July, planning on working my way north up to Edinburgh then taking a RyanAir/EasyJet/etc type flight to Munich and seeing a little of Germany before flying back home from London.

So look i’m 23, i guess i’d consider myself fairly social (really enjoy meeting young tourists, its great), and i’ve got no friends who are available to come on the trip with me so i guess it’ll just be me solo! Anyway, i guess i’m just looking for what kind of places are really good for young travellers like myself? I do research these things before i go, and so far i’ve heard some pretty good things about (obv London), Brighton, Manchester, Newcastle (upon Tyne), and Edinburgh, so thinking these might be the go? I’ve got 29 days total so thinking perhaps 9-10 different places, at like 3 days each or so? Do you think??

So when it comes to nightlife in those spots (and any other suggestions) which is probably the main issue at my age (haha!), how is it? What do you reckon? Also when it comes to hostels etc to stay, what’s that like? And on that topic, i have one question niggling on the mind i’ve gotta ask (please dont think i’m a sleazy, dirty player, i’m not!), with hostels – especially where you’re not in some private room of your own – what happens if/when, you know, you take a bit of mutual fancy with the opposite sex??? I came out as bi just a little less than 2 months ago. I’ve known I had liked girls as well as guys for a while, just a little after my fourteenth birthday. I came out to my closest friends, about five, six months ago, until coming out to my other friends and then the whole school soon knew. Any Guys With Long Hair? I Have A Question To Ask?

I am guy and wants to grow hair long like shoulder’s length where it’s parted in the middle and long on each side. But my problem is that my hair is thick and it’s a little puffy on the top and now my hair is touching the top of my ear. Is there anyone that has some tips so that it can look neat while I grow it long? Also I heard trimming is good and I heard it isn’t because it would stop if from going and I should wait until it’s gets the length I want first. Also if I don’t wash my hair after a few days it looks flat and not puffy but the only problem is that it looks greasy and dirty looking.Is there a good conditioner/shampoo to use. I know this is in the wrong category but original category it slow and thought music fans might have long hair. Also it seems to me that when I wash is when it gets puffy and dry looking but if I skip washing hair it looks like how I want it except it’s dirty looking. okay well my best friend sharia went off on me because she says she doesn’t get why i can get so many guys without trying and Travis (my boyfriend/old best friend) wants me. then to make it worst she freaking told everybody about my son (no im not stupid i got pregnant by the dude i lost it too like my second time ever having sex and people didn’t even know i had a son since i moved and didn’t start back school until after). My Coworker is stealing and my Manager is in on it.?

I am an Asst. Manager in at a local business, retail. Last night I was closing alone when a coworker who is also a friend came in with a mutual acquaintance. The mutual acquaintance had a business opportunity for me so we went in the back to discuss it while my coworker kept an eye out for any last minute customers. After we where done he and our mutual acquaintance left, he told me he would call me soon on the way out the door. When I went to count down the drawer I noticed something was wrong. There had been no customers in for 2 hours and one of those old twenty dollar bills was on the top of the $20 pile when I last opened the drawer. It wasn’t there.
The coworker in question almost always screwed up the drawer somehow every other week or so and though we where usually able to prove it was a mistake I never discounted foul play as a possibility. So I checked the cameras and while I was in the back this guy stole over $1000 in merchandise and manipulated the drawer to pay out almost $150.00. This way it wouldn’t show up as short at the end of the day.
After much deliberation I contacted the GM and told her what was up. She told me to let her handle it and not contact the owner or regional manager, that she would confront the thief. Prior to calling the GM I tried calling the thief and his phone was off. Not even a minute after I hung up with her he called me already knowing most of the details. He made up some lies and asked me to meet him at his home so we could clear up the issue. Once there he admitted to stealing one of the items but claimed he paid for the rest and was willing to return the stolen item or pay for it. But the cameras and the receipts don’t lie. I took him back and showed it to him and he made up some excuse for each item he took. I wasn’t born yesterday. I would have called upper management then and there but for one thing. This guy isn’t some ruthless thug but I’ve backed him into a corner and I believe push come to shove he is more than willing to do what ever is necessary to keep me quiet in order to protect himself and his family. And two I used to trust him. I invested a few hundred in a business opportunity with him and now that investment is at risk. So I basically pretended to buy his lie and brought him home. He called later and said that the GM was gonna let him keep the stolen merch and look the other way and if I kept quiet it would all go away and my investment would be safe. He confessed to me that he caught her doing the same thing and let it slide too which is why she was doing it.
In retrospect he shouldn’t have know how to manipulate the register to pay him out like that either. So it all adds up to them being a bunch of dirty thieves. I also forgot to mention that the GM stole my job a few months ago because the regional manager wants to “have relations” with her. I don’t know if she let him but I know she made up a bunch of lies about me to get me demoted and her promoted.
So there it is. My two options are: 1. I blow a whistle, lose my $, put myself and my loved ones in danger from the thief, and maybe the Regional Manager uses this to finally get what he wants from the GM and fires me to protect her. Or he fires them and I get my job back, and a pay raise. Or 2. I keep quiet. Maybe they stop stealing or keep stealing and get away with it. Upper management are a bunch of clowns, people rip them off all the time because they have no idea what they are doing when it comes to security. Of the four GM’s that have been there since the location opened I am the only one who hasn’t stolen anything besides the occasional paper clip and those who where caught where turned in and they wouldn’t have been caught otherwise. They never check the cameras unless something else gives them reason to and the inventory system is so screwed up they could not ever know if something was missing by using it. Or maybe they get caught and then I get held as an accomplice and lose my job and get possibly charged. Either way I still keep my investment right? Well I don’t trust these guys at all anymore. He may just cut and run irregardless or worse.
I want to sell these guys out, if only because they lied to me and betrayed me let alone they threatened my job by doing this on my watch. But I am not a wealthy person by any means. I live well below the poverty line and need financial security or at least something close to it. I had to scrape every spare penny to get that investment money. I wish I could blackmail them but they probably won’t go along. They will probably just turn to extreme measures. So if you where in my shoes what would you do?

Is this all abuse?

Since I was little, I have always been physically abused by my dad, then my big brother who is 18 started physically abusing me when I was about 10 or 11. I am nearly 14 now. When I was about 9 or 10 my grandfather touched me like five times then he moved out of our house. I was paralysed when he touched me down there. I was frozen and couldnt move or speak, then finally I tried to turn around with wide open eyes. Is he still wrong when I didnt make him stop. Is this sexual abuse? I definately try stop my big brother and dad though, sometimes I grab objects to defend myself. But it never works. Only a knife does and that makes them even more angry and violent. I just do small things like not go to bed when they tell me to or try to stand up for myself when they say mean things.

The month I turned 13 I got lead to a dark place and this drunk random who was about 20 something had sex with me. Again, I was paralysed and scared, once I asked him to get off me but he kept going, it really hurt and I bled a little bit. Then finally he fell asleep on top of me, I couldnt move for like 5 minutes, I was really upset and was crying. I pushed him off and ran away.

My mum sometimes is calling me names like slut, whore etc. and tells me to not wear so much makeup and change my clothes. Once, I was going to the beach to see my friends. I was dressed in some short shorts, cardigan and bikini top, she yelled at me for about an hour telling me to stop acting like a slut etc. and wouldnt let me go see my friends, she knew I was going to the beach. She always makes me cry and accuses me of doing things I dont do. Now she is following me everywhere I go and wont let me do a thing with my friends apart from going to school. She is ruining my social life and I am really really upset. Is this classified as abuse?

From year 4 to year 8 I was bullied at school because I told my so-called friends about what happened to me, 90% of them didnt believe me and called me names and things. I had no friends and cried almost everyday. Now I am a year 9 and there are still rumours going around about me. People I dont even know come up to me and ask me sick questions or they say hey boiana to me, I ask them how they know my name, and they say everybody is talking about me.

When I was a year 7 to 8, I used to cut and got so depressed, I got bullied even more. I started having sex with guys alot and sleeping around and I always felt dirty afterwards and would break down crying. I am most likely to be pregnant now and I dont know what the hell to do.

I told the police once, they said “go to the authorities” and walked off, I was so angry then and didnt tell anybody else again. I dont trust anymore adults and stuff. I dont know anything about the authorities etc.

okay well my best friend sharia went off on me because she says she doesn’t get why i can get so many guys without trying and Travis (my boyfriend/old best friend) wants me. yea this story is legit, as much as i wish it wasn’t it is.

I’m 21 and for undisclosed reasons, I live in a motel. I met this older guy the other night, who is staying here. He was letting me (and a few others) play with his dog. Today, he came down to the lobby and asked if he could get my “digits”. I just laughed and the subject was changed and then he asked again if I was going to give him my digits and again, I just laughed. He said he’d be back to get my digits later. Sure enough, he was back down maybe half an hour later with his dog and he came over to me while I was on the computer. He took his phone out and asked for my phone number and I told him I didn’t have a phone. He goes “You just don’t want to give me your number, huh?” I explained to him that my phone is cut off and that I can’t pay the bill until I get a job. Then, he said “so if you did have a phone, you’d give me your number?” and I said “maybe” lol. We started talking about Facebook and for some reason, he goes “I’m not your type or something?” I said “Nobody said that.” I got off the computer and walked over to the front desk to talk to the front desk clerk and the guy came with me and kept putting the dog in my face again.

Well, my dad died when I was 8 and no, my mom didn’t teach me how to read and deal with people. I agree he seems peculiar, but he’s just joking around a lot of the time. The front desk lady is good at reading people and she’s got my back, so she’d let me know if she thought he was sketchy.

I met this guy at my new job, I noticed him before starting work there because I always shop there. My girlfriend turned 21 and only wants to party now. Wtf do I do?

We’ve been dating for 5 months, and things were absolutely perfect for the first 4. Then she turned 21 and only wants to go out with her friends and get stupid drunk. It wouldn’t be a big deal, except for a few things – 1) She gets really flirty when she drinks, to the point where friends of mine have seen her out and texted me a heads up that she’s “all over some guy at such and such bar” or something. 2) That she never wants me to come out with them, and 3) That it’s what she does now, just about every free night she has. We hung out almost every night before, not i’m lucky if I see her once a week.

I’m 24, and dated a girl for 5 years prior to her. She’s 21, and her longest relationship was 4 months. So we’re obviously coming from 2 very different pasts. I told her i’m willing to give her space, let her have her fun, because, lets be realistic. Who doesn’t want to party when they turn 21. She feels like i’m being controlling when I ask her to call me after a night out drinking, to make sure she’s home safe. I told her I don’t mind her going out and having fun, I just want to know that she’s not going to do anything skeezy, and that it wouldn’t hurt to bring me out with her once in a while.

We had a talk tonight and almost broke up, but it was left open. Like I said, i’m willing to give her space, to try to trust her, and to let her have her 21 fun, but not at the expense of our relationship. I know it’s just a phase, but how long should it last? A few months? A few years? I got over the party phase pretty quick, but I was also in a serious relationship. I really, REALLY care about this girl, but I also don’t want to be put on the back burner so that she can “get it out of her system” and “just be 21 and reckless”, which are both direct quotes of hers.

Side notes are that she’s hot, so she gets hit on non-stop, but she also likes the attention, and sees nothing wrong with being flirty, because nothing is actually happening. To me, that’s not cool. If you’re going to act single, be single. She has loads of guy friends, but is also naive about a lot of them being innocent and trustworthy. First off, I’m 21 and work full time and also do online schooling full time.

I went to the mall yesterday after work to get my hair done, and as always, there is this kiosk in the middle of the mall where they sell hand-care supplies and the guy that works there (usually the same guy) always tries to get people to come over so he can show off the product.

I always just smile and say no thanks, but yesterday after my hair got done I walked by again and I caved in and let him do his job.. blah.

Dealing with a shy guy-does he like me?

Sorry this is sorta long I just need to give some background info. So there’s this guy I’ve been friends with for over a year now, he’s 21 and I’m 19. Over Christmas vacation we texted a lot and at times he was being pretty flirty, which doesn’t seem like him because he opened up to me and was telling me how he’s scared of girls and finds them intimidating because he always gets screwed over, and how he’s always too shy to make the first move. We hung out (went to a concert) and had a good time, he did a few things that were subtle and questionable but I wasn’t really sure so I was talking to my guy friend about it. My guy friend ended up messaging him (without telling me until AFTER) telling him that I liked him but I was shy and he should talk to me. The guy replied but kinda disregarded/avoided what my friend had said. A couple days later we hadn’t talked so I texted him apologizing on behalf of my friend and admitted that I was sorta into him I just wasn’t planning on telling him until later down the road if we talked/hung out more. I told him it was totally fine if he didn’t feel the same and that I hoped this didn’t make anything awkward. Again, he avoided what I said and continued to talk to me but simply changed the subject.

We’ve been talking every once in awhile since then, and then last week he texted me saying he was in the area and I asked him if he wanted to come visit me in college. He ended up spending the night so my mom could give him a ride home the next day when she picked me up, and we both slept in my bed (it’s a twin). He started to cuddle with me; at first he seemed kind of hesitant because he just put his hand on my hip while we were spooning, but once he realized I wasn’t backing off he started to rub my legs and tummy and back. He did that for awhile and a couple times over the course of the night. Nothing else happened, except when he left he opened his arms for a big hug goodbye. I explained to him that I just don’t like getting attached to people if there’s nothing there, and all he said was okay. I’m so confused because all the signs point to him liking to me except for the fact that he always beats around the bush when it comes to saying his feelings. That’s why I’m so confused.

I have been living alone for 2 years why am I not desperate to have a guy at home again?

I have been living alone since I left my husband two years ago and I love it. I work and pay all the bills and take care of the house on my own. use to think this is normal and I accepted it. Now I think otherwise. we are engaged to be married and I still can’t get over that she has the tendency to call him/ text him first thing in the morning before she would text me (not typical but has happened) she says “I’m crazy” and I feel crazy at times. I use to thave girls that are friends but have found that as you get older your friends quickly diminish and that you only keep in contact with a select few. I try to explain my “crazyness” to her but she just brushes it off as me not trusting her of me being nuts. I trust her 100% but I don’t trust the guy at all. Best Friend Question?

I have this best guy friend. We’ve been friends now for about a year and we talk everyday, weather text, phone, facebook, or in person. We’re both in college together and we are always together. We flirt like mad, but have both agreed that we are both just huge flirts, but he flirts with me differently then any of our other friends. Also, he notices when I make the smallest of changes to my personal appearance and always compliments them when I do.

Also, now that it’s summer, I have basically been living at his apartment. He likes my company and I’m having a rough time at home so he always asks me to come over and hang out where it entails just the two of us chilling at his place. He has also asked me if I want to move in, although I have to check with his roommates once they get back for school, where him and I would share a room. we recently went to a friends house that is like 45 minutes away because THEY begged us to come, we aren’t doing so well financially ourselves but we still promised them we would come so we did. Well they asked us what we wanted to drink, (alcohol wise) and we just said beers fine, that was like a week before we went and they were like okay cool. well we got there and then went to the liquor store and they asked us if we were going to go half in with them? i was like umm, we didn’t bring any extra money (lol we don’t really have extra though) and we just paid a big bill for our gas for the way up, they invited us and they made it seem like they were going to buy us the beer, you know as a treat. Okay, I was at the library with my guy friend and, if you read my other questions, he’s really mean. Like I was all ‘dolled up’ and was wearing my makeup which I rarely wear and I had done my hair and what’s the first thing he says when he sees me?? “You look really bad today, I don’t know why, but you do.” I was so hurt!! I mean, I know he’s 14 and he’s a guy so I always cut him some slack but I’m so sick of it!! Plus, he’s my best friend so I try to overlook it when he acts like this but he’s just so mean!

So, after he had told me I was ugly, he was looking at pictures in my phone (after I told him not to look through my phone) and he found a picture of me and he said, “Who is that?” And I said, “That’s that picture where I look like your brother’s girlfriend!” (my facial expression made me look like her) and he said, “No, her nose isn’t that big.) OMGosh!! Why would he say like that!? Does he have no heart!?

So I got my phone back and later, he took it again (after I told him not to look through my phone AGAIN) and he started scrolling through my messages! In my messages were texts I had written to friends about HIM. About him being mean, or looking cute, etc. But about HIM. So, I was immediately panicked, not wanted him to read those!! I tried to take my phone back, yelling at him not to read the messages and he stood up and ran into the guys bathroom with my phone!!

OMFreakinGosh. I was the most ticked I’ve been in months. I walked around the library in a fury, not knowing what to do, realizing he was in there reading everything I had said about him to my friends.

When he came out later, he STILL wouldn’t give me my phone back and seemed listless about everything personal he had just read. Then he was CONFUSED when I was mad @ him!! He told me to grow up and it wasn’t a big deal that he had just GONE THROUGH MY PHONE.

FINALLY, after ignoring him for a while, he tossed my phone to me and when I went through it, ALL MY MESSAGES ABOUT HIM WERE DELETED. So he TOOK MY PHONE, after I told him not to and was so mad, READ THE MESSAGES that I had told him NOT to read, and then DELETED THE ONES that he just wanted to delete.

Then, because he’s my best friend, I tried to get over it and act normal (so hard!) and then he was mad at ME and said I was mean to him after he had read my phone. UH…YEAH. YOU READ MY PHONE. I HAD A RIGHT TO BE MAD AT YOU.

So then, after he had told me he was mad @ ME, I was just fed up with him and he has the nerve to ask me what my problem was. He then asked me if he wrote me a song, would it make it better. : /

That’s why I stay best friends with him – I like his sweet side, just not when he’s mean. Like when he offered to write me a song. Then, he found a best friend poem in a book and told him he actually wrote it about me, then sold it to that author. He made me read the poem which was all about caring for a best friend forever and always being there for them.

But he ALWAYS acts mean. ALWAYS says hurtful things. ALWAYS.

I mean, maybe this is normal for a 14 year old guy, I don’t know. But he IS my BFF, (QUESTION 1) will he grow out of this!?

He insists I call him everyday and acts like he likes me, except when he’s a jerk.

I’ll call him tomorrow, but (QUESTION 2) should I apoligize, I mean, (QUESTION 3) was I overreacting? (QUESTION 4) Was it really that big of a deal that he went through my phone when I asked him not to?

im playing 20 questions with my boyfriend .. and i have run out of ideas .. i have asked everything i can think of .. help please (:

Girl Problems :/ (Depressed) ;(?

So, I’m in 9th grade and I’ve been having some problems at my school. All the guys joke around and say “Hey ___, are you ugly? Hahahahahha” and I’ve gotten into 1 fight (I lost, got a bloody ear) 1 body box (again lost) and been pressured into 2 slap boxes but that’s the least of it. The big problems are from the girls, cause I usually ignore what the guys say and the pain usually lasts only for a little bit but when it’s from the girls it hits me in the heart and stays (no homo). Lemme give you examples:

Ex. 1: I liked this one girl and my friend was trying to hook us up. He asked her if she would date me and she just said “Uh…” Btw, I previously gave her 2 of my snapbacks (hats) and it took her 2 months to return one of them because I didn’t want to ask her constantly because I would feel like I would be bothering her, even though she has MY things and I did ask her daily/at least a couple times a week. And before my friend asked the question I gave her these nerd glasses and after class ended I ran up to her and said “Don’t take two months this time hahaha” and she just looked at me and said “Okay…..” I gave her that in November, its February now and she’s in the hospital for some reason idk and I would feel bad if I told her I want them back because, well, she’s in the HOSPITAL! EVEN THOUGH I WANT MY THINGS BACK -.- And it’s even harder because she’s a “popular” girl.

Ex 2: Back a while ago I had another pair of nerd glasses (they’re kind of the style like what Tyga/Cory Gunz wears, don’t judge me) and I let my friend use em, who gave em to my other friend (who I don’t trust that well) well anyways, his dumb ass gave it to this girl who has not given it back to me after repeated times asking for them back.

Ex. 3: Another friend of mine was trying to hook me up with a girl (this was really recent) and I didn’t even want to be hooked up (or tried to) because I knew the same old shit would happen again, so I told him stop. He tapped her on the shoulder, and said I like her. She turned around, gave me a dirty look, and turned back around. Idk how you girls would feel if a guy did that to you, but I felt like somebody literally stuck a knife in my chest, I just wanted to go home.

Ex. 4: This girl wanted to buy something from me for $20, so I told her okay. The next day on the bus, I came and had it but she didn’t have the money. She gave me excuses that she was gonna pay me tomorrow (her mom getting taxes, etc.). I knew how this was going to end out, but I wanted to see if maybe this one girl would be different and stay true to her word. I gave it to her, empty handed on my side. The next day: no money. Day after that: come to the basketball game I’ll have your money. I go to the basketball game, she’s not there. Today: I’m in the hallway with my friends, I see her walking and when she see’s me, she walks in the opposite direction. No money.

Ex. 5: Back a while ago during homecoming, I asked my friend to hook me up and he did. We walk for a little talking and she said she might not go because a guy already asked her and she said yes, but there were problems between them and she wasn’t going with him (he was aware). Later on during my classes she’s all I can think about and I get that bubbly feeling inside (again, no homo). Anyways, I didn’t know what the fuck I was thinking, so I ripped out a little piece of paper, wrote down my phone number and said “text me ” on it (with the smily face, smh) and gave it to her in the hallway. She looked at me with confusion and later as I walked away I heard her and her friends laughing. I didn’t get a text at all that night, and the next day I knew she didn’t want to go with me, so when I saw her in the hallways I told her to go with the guy. I kind of stuttered, because I was nervous (not like REALLY stuttered, but mixed up my words) and she said “Okay….”, and I saw her roll her eyes and walk away. Knife feeling in my chest again, I felt like punching myself.

Ex. 6: This is going to be the last one. This is the most recent one and hurt the most, causing me to write this whole thing. Basically, this girl who always called me “Ugly” (as a joke) and made fun of me for losing my fight and getting beat up (she was on the bus when me & the kid were arguing). So I kinda knew her and she kinda knew me. So recently we started talking and over the past weekend we’ve been flirting chatting on fb a lot saying things like “I love youu (:” and she loves me back etc and I told her she’s beautiful. Anyways, just recently like today she started acting kinda cold to me and I told her that I miss her and we need to chill at the next bball game and i asked if she was going and she said “Yea ill see you there Im going with a guy named Bryan”. ..Tomorrows valenti
Tomorrows valentines day. I was considering getting her something but fuck it. She made me happy for about a month and now I’m depressed as fuck.

I am getting it but my aunts say that I should not worry about my hair falling off and that if I have a bald spot on my hair close to my scalp or if I have large entrances on the sides of my hair. I still have my hair long so the entrances aren’t noticeable because of it but the scalp is. From my dad’s side everyone lost their hair but I don’t wanna lose my hair. I am still young and I am 20. Well anyways since my aunts lives in another country and I want to do it there cause its cheaper. I told them about it and they agree that I should stay the way I am and not worry about my hair. They even questioned me in saying “why do you worry about your hair so much?” That question made me think maybe they are assuming I am gay or something. I am not by the way but I like looking good and want to feel good about myself and hair is the crown jewel to look good. Anyways I remember that the country they live in is a very manly/chauvinist place so maybe they aren’t used to in seeing a guy taking proper care about himself. When I was there last year I took lots of time hygienically and dressed different and they looked at me weird. I wore skinnies and they looked like they hated it. Anyways they were always asking me “why do you care if you look good or not?” I rather would like you to look dirty rather than clean?” They also asked “why do you shower everyday?” why do you wash your face with toners, cleaners everyday, guys shouldn’t wear that, just use soap” and so on. So they won’t encourage me in getting hair transplants since they think I should stay the way I am and that I need a family member there. So I’ve recently had my first kiss with this really great guy a couple weeks ago. So I spent the othe rnight with him (nothing dirty or past first base. just cuddling and sleeping and kissing, it was sweet .

anyway, when he kisses me there’s a lot of spit..is that normal?? Like when we were making out all around my mouth is covered in spit, even on our noses. He was kissing me really hard, it made it difficult to breath haha is that normal?

Also, the other night he asked me if I loved him. We’ve been dating about 2 months, i avoided the question because i have no idea. but does that mean he’s in love with me?
