Maybe you’re shallow for being jealous of a shallow person. If you really are her friend then just be her friend. Why criticize her? If these things really bother you then you should learn from it. Don’t be shallow like her. Don’t go through life being ungrateful of what you have and who you are. Don’t be the kind of girl who turns down the good guys. BTW: if these guys are interested in her then they are shallow too so why should you want any of them? Becareful that you don’t turn out to be what you disslike.

Be yourself and love who you are. ther will always be someone in you circle who gets mor attention than you do. Try harder to become better at the things you like and don't worrie about her. If she is all that shallow her fame won't last long. As for the grades, study and work harder and your grades will get better. love who you are because someone looking up to you might feel the same way you do.

I totally agree with you, its really frustrating when people don’t realize what they have, and take things for granted ..
And heey , who says that she’s way prettier than you?
I know this is gonna sound sappy and all that …
but when you get a guy, he’s gonna be worth a lot more than the ten or more that liked your friend,
… and i know that it makes it all the much harder with her being your best friend.
Depending on the way she responds to conflict and talking about her feelings and stuff, you could try to talk to her about it …

Find something you're good at and work really hard to make yourself even better at it. Then you can be recognized for YOU and something YOUR good at. Let your friend be a good athlete, but that doesn't mean you cant be a great...lets say ARTIST!

Get some new friends if she's so shallow. If you hang with her that makes you pretty lame and shallow yourself. At least you recognize she's lame and you can move on.

Oh same here! High five! My best friend is like… Perfect! It’s so annoying! But she doesn’t get EVERYTHING! Cos nobody’s perfect… Everyone’s got something wrong with them… I bet she has like… Something proper wrong with her and stuff… I bet she does… and and and… SHE doesn’t get to talk to me and you do! =D… cos i’m sooo great (and modest!) that you can use it against her! =P
