just don’t be afraid to show who u really r,bear in mind that each and everyone of us born w/one exceptional talent that is a gift from GOD;what u do is show them how good u r,and showing how u love ur family in respect and ur sweetest;nicest way,and in return,u will gain they’re love and admiration…

Find your passion and do that. If it’s guitar, animals, cooking whatever. Mainly, find something you love and as you get good at it you can feel good about yourself for what YOU accomplished. It’s sounds like you’re competing for your grandpa’s attention–but, you don’t have to be good at anything for him to adore you. You can have a closer relationship just by making an effort to know him and asking how things were different when he was a teen; ask if he remembers the Great Depression, what he thinks of computers…He can be proud of you just for being a good person, and talk about you because he enjoys your company and who you are. Be careful, of thinking that other people’s lives, talents etc. are better. The grass really isn’t greener on the other side–all people have problems whether they are seen or unseen. Good luck!
