How can I stop jealousy and the past from affecting my love life?
Hi,
Well I don’t really know where to start… I just started high school, and there is a girl in my class that I like. She is not one of those "popular" girls. On Friday I saw her hand in hand with this other bloke from school, and I got really upset, even though I don’t know if she likes me or ever did. There were signs that she did, but she seemed to flirt with another boy so I backed off. I used to date one of my previous classmates. We didn’t go out for long, but I liked her on and off for two years. That might have been the reason why I didn’t do anything this time. There are not many girls that I like, but when I do, I rally like them. It hurts me when they flirt with other, it really hurt, and I don’t what to feel this way, but I can’t help the way I feel. It HURTS so badly, and I don’t know what to do. I am really shy, and don’t like to go out a lot either. What can I do to stop these feelings of jealousy and the past that keeps me from having a lovelife?

What you want to do is just become friends with her, compliment her a lot. Maybe she actually likes you too.

you need not just to fantasize about a girl…do some work, speak to her…nobody can "read" who or what you like…..get a grip of yourself, this is not a healthy situation to be in. you are the only one that knows how you feel, and when you are hurt. take con troll of your feelings, when you see you really like a person, put your shyness aside….lift up you chin and work for a relationship…it takes two to tango my friend….

I feel the same with a girl but I know she most likely doesn’t have the same feelings for me. But we are still great friends.
