The short term solution is to learn how to attract /date better etc….

If you have low self esteem the long term solution would be to find the Root reason
for your low self esteem and do something to remove it.Otherwise you will get low self esteem again and again.

For example your low self esteem may have do something with bad breath,weight,appearance…
So if you do something about the root reason you can permanently improve your self esteem.

you dumped him, you admit having jealousy issues which is good but he doesn’t want anything to do with you which is understandable so why not move on with your life

First, start by loving yourself and embracing optimism.
I know it’s hard to, but once that’s over with, you’ll be a lot happier and you’ll end up on top.

You know what’s best for you, if you truly want to fix it and think it’s meant to be, go for it. But you need to rationally think about it before you do. If you decide to move on, great! That just means you think you deserve better. You get what you settle for, and I settle for nothing . Moving on is such a hard thing to do, but sometimes it’s best. You just need to get up, dust yourself off, and move on. Life doesn’t stop for anyone, so maybe it’s time you move along with it.

I have an amazing soul mate who will do anything for me and I would do the same for him in a heartbeat. However, I also suffer from low self-image. I use to get jealous of Taylor Swift because my boy likes her music but then My mum gave me a talk and while I still have issues about myself, I’m not jealous of anyone. You need to "let go". Cliched as it may sound it is true. All this resentment and anger internalizes itself and you just look and feel ugly. Us girls are such a beautiful species but we sometimes forget to see that – we’re too busy fretting over a random boy or fighting this inner "me against myself" battle. I think you need to first work on yourself. I know that doesn’t mean much coming from me but I’m getting to a better place. Exercise! It releases these endorphins that make you feel naturally better about yourself. Help others. Improving other people’s lives gives you that sense of accomplishment. Stop comparing yourself to others. We all have unique features and while we dislike some things about ourselves, there’s so many other things to not only be greatful for but also to be proud of. No one is 100 percent secure of themself. Nothing is ever picture perfect.
About the Ex… I don’t know your dude but from my observations, loving jerks are very common and someone better always comes around when you least expect it. The mere fact that you two are no longer together is reason enough to forget him. It took me two years to get over the first boy I ever went out with – a complete jerk who doesn’t deserve any girl. I got over him and am very happy now. If he really loved you and although you might have hurt him, he should not have turned his back on you. You’re not pathetic. That’s just love. Low self esteems tend be act like a magnet to jerks, cheaters, and scum of the earth. Work on yourself and when the time is right, the planets will align themself and mr.right-for-you will emerge. He might not be riding on a horse or be a Jay Sean look-a-loke but if he loves you and accepts you for you then give him a chance. Good Luck

well my friend i know how you feel i broke up with the girl of my dreams and a girl i loved for everything in the world and praying that i would never lose her and i did so my life some what like yours i have lost her i have not talk to her in about a year or so when i broke with her i saw know real reason why but i did so i look at you and what you have said im in a boat that has yet docked at port just hoping maybe the day i do dock my boat of life and love i will see her standing on the shore waiting for me i pray if not god didn’t mean for it to be but true fully i think he did so i as i see it stand up hold your head i have tried to forget her and our love and the joy and emotion that we have had she but a notice on her myspace after starting to date another guy a little while after we broke up saying people need to move on and i took her from my myspace friends and got haven’t talked to her at all so all i can say is hold up your head and walk on if you see him walk by and if he says hey say hey if he introduces you to the current girl friend be nice knowing the love that you still have for him has you tore up inside and in pieces and one day you’ll find someone trust god and he shall see you through if you don’t know him ask for forgives and take as your father and savior in all things amen be at piece with him and with those around you good look friend and broken heart captain
