How can I stop being jealous and mad when my boyfriend goes out with his friends? Please Help!!?

It’s just that I get real jealous and sad because I’m always in the house and I don’t have any friends of my own to call or hang out with.

I mean I understand he needs his time with the guys, but if I just had something to keep me occupied (like friends) then I won’t act so stupid and cause little arguments all the time.

I really want to change. Please Help.

i did that too when i liked a guy.
and this was just LIKING a guy i wasnt actually dating him.
first we have to get you some friends.

i suggest make a myspace/facebook/whatever!

this will help others actually know who you are.
next get out more.
go on walks.
you can see your neighboors and possibly hang out with them if they are your age.

next time your guy goes out tag along with him
his friends girlfriends might tag along too and BAM you’re friends.

the key to making friends is to be social and be open minded.

in order to be social you have to be confident and feel good about yourself.
i suggest finding out what makes you uncomfortable.

change up your hair.
change up your style
and change up your attitude
when youre being social in class then ask your newly found friends to come over for a "study session"
then continue to hang out with them and you guys will become friends.

messege me if you need anything else ok?
hope it helps.

Mix with his friends, then go out with him?

Or maybe make some friends of your own in the area =]

Just let him go. A lot of women give men grief after enjoying time with their friends. It’s really not about the man. It’s them masking theri own desire for important ‘me’ time. Go enjoy yourself by yourself and make some friends. Try a sport or hobby. Baseball is fun and anyone can play.

Just let him live his life, if he feels your too clingy, he might break up with you, then you really won’t have anyone. You should talk to him about how you feel and what would be some options about the situation. Good luck! =D

some people have a very hard time being by themself. Are you like that, or is it that you want friends? If you answered no to the first question, than think about what you like to do, or things you’ve had an interest in. For example the guitar, hiking, whatever girls like to do. Get involved with that interest by yourself. THis will be good reflection time to get to know yourself better too.

    please answer my question?

hi there, aww sweetie…..well for the meantime you have us on the yahoo boards :) jealousy is a hard thing to overcome (been there done that) you have to find yourself a hobby to keep you busy until you find some friends……find something you like to do what about making scrapbooks with pictures? what about exercising, cleaning out your closets etc. or when make it a beauty ritual night where you deep condition your hair, do a facial mask, curl up with a book or a good movie……i dont know how old you are but is there someone you can try to make friends with at school or at work? just find a reason to start a conversation with them……

when your bf wants to go out with her friends realize that you know inside you are gonna get jealous/sad/upset but remember that he loves you and let him have his guy fun…….try your best not to nag him or start a fight with him……he will love you all the more for it….if you need a chat buddy i will be your friend :) you can always email me at summerwind07044@aol.com i am a 43 yr old female i know im probably alot older than you obviously, but if you feel lonely we can chat by email :) i wish you well

I am sorry to say that it is hard to change from being like that!
I was the exact same way when I was younger! Even when my friends wanted to take me out or do stuff with me, I wouldnt want to because I couldnt have a good time knowing I wasnt sure what he was doing and how much fun he was having.
You should see if his friends have girlfriends that you can hang out with, so when they do their stuff ya’ll can do your stuff.
It is just torture to stay alone and wonder and worry about what he is doing. Especialy when thats all that goes through your head.
I know its hard, but find Something to take your mond off of it, if you dont stop argueing with him about it and not let him spend time with his friends he will probably break up with you.
Rent a movie and stuff your face if you cant find some people to do stuff with. Or go to a movie if you dont mind going alone.
Get a pet, that may help.
I wish you the best of luck.
I tortured myself for so long in that position. (when I wasnt hangin out with friends I would just buy some Nyquil and sleep aide so I could go to sleep) I hope you find a fix early, I know it sucks.
Like I said, rent some movies that will keep your mind off things, or get some books.
    Just dont hassle him!

I’ve been there. You need to get out and find your own thing to do even if for a while it’s alone. Even ask him if any of his friends have girlfriends that may like a little girls night out and try to become their friends if you have things in common.

Well, you need to either make some friends of your own, or find something else to fill your time with while he’s away. Have your own thing that you can do without him. Find something you’re interested in and maybe take a class for it (like an art class, aerobics class-etc). That will also be a good way to network with other people.

You really need to try to be more understanding. That is one thing men hate…Clingy girlfriends. I know how hard it is when you don’t have any friends of your own, but you need to find something else to do to occupy your time when he’s out with his friends.

Maybe you could try taking up a hobby. What about reading, writing, learning how to play a musical instrument, etc.? You need to have a life of your own. Be more independent, not so co-dependent. Men like women that are more secure and confident. And if you are jealous, that is showing him you are insecure.

Don’t let your boyfriend be your LIFE. He may not always be there. And you need to learn to love yourself and be happy with who you are. Just try to chill out. Everyone needs time with their friends. It’s nothing you should take personally.

You need to be more patient. Try make some friend on internet. That will make you cheer a little. Or take a walk at the park to release your tension. If you don’t want to, tell him about how you feel.

    Gud LuCk! ;-)

I think you probably know the answer. You need some things of your own to do. But don’t think of it as "I need things to do to pass the time when my boyfriend is out"…. instead, think of it as: "I need to be able to be happy on my own and not be fussed if someone else isn’t there to make me temporarily happy."

My ex-girlfriend and I played a similar game. Sometimes, I would feel like you feel (jealous, mad, ignored, needy)… Other times, she would feel that way… Eventually, it destroyed our long-term relationship.

Please, try to adjust to having a life outside of him. Work hard to find friends or people to call you or text you or keep your mind off of constantly when he’s out.

It probably won’t do any good to talk to him. It’s nothing he can solve. Please, if you follow no other advise, follow this: Don’t talk to him about it. This is an insecurity problem. You need to overcome it on your own.

The best things to do is to get a hobby, watch movies, surf the net, take a class anything you have to do to occupy your time.

If you continue to nag him, you’re going to push him into the arms of another female. Get a grip of yourself…
