At Moises house
Moises:(walks in the door and slams it behind him)
Mrs. Jonas:(on the phone) Joesph he just walked in the door. He’s perfectly fine. Bye.(hang up the phone) Hey you look like you have something on your mind.
Moises:I’m fine mom.(starts walking upstairs)
Mrs. Jonas:Well you look mad about something.
Moises:(stops walking)Because I am mad!
Mrs. Jonas:Who are you mad at?
Moises:Joe! I said I didn’t want a girlfriend but Jake does. So Joe told him a story that I never heard before.
Mrs.Jonas:Moises come sit down. You’re not mad at Joe.
Moises:What! Yes I am!
Mrs. Jonas: No honey, you are jealous of Jake.
Moises:Why would I be jealous of Jake?
Mrs. Jonas:Because Jake heard a story from Joe that you didn’t hear first.
Moises:(sighs) I guess you’re right.
Mrs. Jonas:I’m sure Joe tells you stories all the time and since you don’t want a girlfriend Joe told it to Jake to help him.
Moises:I’m going to go do my homework.
Mrs. Jonas:Okay I’ll call you when dinner is ready.
The next day at Selena’s school
Selena:(sits down next to a girl)
Teacher:Class look to the person next to you because that’s your partner for the rest of the year.
Debby:Hi, I’m Debby Ryan.
Selena:I’m Selena
Debby:You’re new right?
Selena:Yeah.
Debby:Don’t worry this is easy to pass even though the teacher is really mean.
Teacher:No talking. Read pages 380 to 400.
Class:(groans)
After that class
Debby:So Selena what do you have next?
Selena:I have lunch.
Debby:No way me too!
In the cafeteria
Debby: Let’s sit at this table. So do you like this school?
Selena:It’s not that bad.
A girl walks by and some guys whistle and check her out
Debby:Here we go.
Selena:What it is? Are you her friend?
Debby:Ha! No way!
Selena:What’s wrong with her?
Debby:She’s a snob!
Selena:That’s it.
Debby:I wish! Every guy at this school is head over heals for her. And she won’t even go out with any of them. But she’ll bat her eyelashes and flirt all day long with them. Well whenever she’s here.
Selena:What do you mean?
Debby:She cuts classes! She’ll just leave whenever she wants too. No one at this school is brave enough to stop her. And everyone knows where she’s going.
Selena:Where does she go?
Debby:Well being a dedicated Grover High student our rival is Parker High School and it’s down to us to win against them in the championship basketball game. But all our players don’t want to put effort into it since they know she’s obviously seeing someone from Parker High. Because of that we’ll loose and her boyfriend will win.
Selena:Are you sure that’s what’s happening?
Debby:What! You don’t believe me!
Selena:Those guys were just checking her out so I don’t think they actually care.
The girl walks out holding a tray with a lot of food on it
Debby:Look at that!
Selena:What?
Debby:She can eat anything she wants and doesn’t even gain any weight!
Selena:(thinking: I NEED to get away from this girl) What time is this over at?
Debby:Lunch is almost over. Where are you going next?
Selena:(checks) Science class.
Debby:(gets up) Good luck.(leaves)
In Science class
Teacher:Oh class I forgot to introduce our new student. (points to Selena) Say your name.
Selena:Hi I’m Selena Gomez.
???:Hey Selena, Martin wants to go out with you!
Teacher:Anderson to the front now!
???:(walks to the front)
Teacher:Why do you have to bother the new student?
???:I have to sir! If I don’t she won’t feel welcome to this school.
Teacher:Do not call me sir. I’m not in the military anymore. Also since you want Selena to feel welcome to our school she can be your partner.
???:(walks back to her seat )
Selena:(sits next to her)
???:(smiles) I’m Nicole.
