It does sound like she has low self-esteem, it could also be that she's really sensitive to.

It sounds to me like she has a low self esteem. The best thing you can do it compliment her everyday, and when she asks you if she looks fat, you tell her no, she looks beautiful. Tell her her outfits are cute. And encourage her to stand up for herself in class. The reason these people make fun of her is not because the way she looks, it is because they know she will take it. They think she is weak, and they need to pick on someone else to feel better about themselves, so they pick the meekest, weakest person to torment. But if she stands up to them, they will leave her alone, in time.

The person above me is right. She's has low self esteem and she's sensitive. She cares too much about what people think of her. She should be like most people these days. Laid back
