I need help. How do I convince my parents? I am a golden blonde, but I dont like it- my hair at the top is a sort of dirty odd grey-blonde, the it darkens or lightens as you look down. I have many shades of blonde.
I dont want blonde hair. I have practacly 0 confidence and I am the shy, sort of geeky type at my school. I dont fit in much, which sometimes makes me feel really sad.
Im not the most desirable type eather. Im rather masculine- tall, broad shouldered (making me good at wresling and rugby), mucsley, curvey (wich leads to me thinking I am fat), with a square jaw and lobster red cheeks…Once I was teased on Facebook about looking like a transvestite… I cryed for days afterwards and shut my account down.
I guess it doesnt help that I am in a class full of tall (but smaller than me tho), anoraxic thin ballerinas, who would look good in bin bags. I feel like an alien.
I want to give my confidence a boost by dying my hair. My mum n dad dont know about how I sometimes get teased or the FB thing, and frankly I dont really wanna tell them.
So I want to dye my hair to gain more confidence. I want to go a dark red, or a reddy-brown auburn. I think those colours are beautiful.
I asked my mum n dad last night and it lead to a huge argument. I want to be my own person. They are the strict type- No drinks, no drug, no peicings, no going out, no being left on my own, no boyfriends… sometimes they even tease me over my spots, saying I am dirty and how I dont clean much, even though I do. Im the person THEY want me to be, not the person who I want to be.
They said ‘We’ll look at it next year, when your 13…’ but thats what they said last year. But I can almost bet that it will be 13 (IF Im lucky) for me, but 10 for my sister. Help!! Boyfriend’s mom throwing me a baby shower? Sorry this is a long question.?

I am pregnant with the first grand child on both sides of the family. Well my boyfriend‘s mom wants to throw me a baby shower. I am only 3months along and do not know what the sex of the baby is. Anyway she is already trying to plan this shower. She told me that she was looking to rent this hall, but the hall only could hold 40 people.

I said oh that should be enough, and she said no its not because I am inviting over 150 people to the shower. My jaw just dropped. I’m thinking to myself what the hell is she thinking? I didn’t say anything and just left it alone, I did not know what to say at that time. I was just shocked.

My boyfriend‘s immediate family consists of a lot of people, I want to invited the immediate family that I know that is here in town and I want to invite my friends. She wants to invite people I have never met that live out of town. I mean my boyfriend has not kept in contact with any of his family that lives out of town.

I told my boyfriend that it is rude to invite people that I haven’t met and expect them to show up and bring a present to someone they don’t know. I think his mom just wants to get as many people as she can so we can get more presents. Which is rude and trashy to me. I told my mom about this whole thing and she just could not believe it.

My mom said that its just so trashy to invite all those people and all they are going to do is just come for the food and not bring any presents. SO my mom said don’t worry your sister is going to throw you a seprate shower. So I will probably invite my friends to that one instead of the CIRCUS one.

Then boyfriends mom tells me days later oh we aren’t having the baby shower at a hall anymore, we are going to have it at my house. I mean her house is so dirty she never cleans it she has no couches in the living room they sit on computer chairs and the house stinks because of dirty dishes in the sink and the house is so small it would be impossible to entertain anyone in that house. I am just embrassed to bring anyone over to that house.

How do I tell her that I just want a small simple shower, nothing over the top. The hall thing was a good idea to me because her house is just not suitable for entertainment. So, I know that every woman is concerned about this…well maybe not all women. Here is the scenario. I have been dating my bf for 10 months now. At first, he enjoyed dating and was and still is a perfect gentleman when it comes to everything except MONEY! When they say MONEY is the root of all evil I agree. He has a job, maybe not making the best money in the world, he commutes so you know that = gas and toll money. Not to mention rent, car, and insurance. I get that, I’m a single Mom. I would rather spend money on a trip/vacation vs. having things. I save my money to do the fun things in life and to give my child those experiences.
So, biggest question for me..how do I talk to him about this and tell him that it bothers me down to the core? That the MONEY issues he has, are not mine, (despite having debt, I work hard to pay my bills down) This is extremely frustrating, and is hurting our relationship.

I know there will be several people who claim they have never heard of it, that it is a old wives tale, and that your nose stayed perfectly normal before, during, and after your pregnancy. There were also a few comments who claimed that it was just a weird question. Well, for those of you who believe any of those things, count your lucky stars, because there are some of us who have to deal with this horrible pregnancy symptom. I had a beautiful baby boy 5 years ago and my nose got sooo big. It was humiliating. And I promise, I am not just being shallow. I could have handled a little swelling, but what I had to endure seemed so unnatural. My nose probably got up to 3 to 4 times bigger and wider. After my pregnancy it went back down, but now I am pregnant again. I am close to 3 months and I feel like it will definitely happen to me again. I need to know why there is so little information on the internet on this matter. I mean there is absolutely nothing, but a couple of ladies who ran into the same problem as me and posted questions on it. There has to be some explanation. Out of all the subjects and matters you can find on the internet this is not one of them. It is like a dirty little secret or something until it happens to you and your like, why did no one warn me about this one. I have probably looked at 100 hundred different pregnant women on the internet, in life, on tv, and I have seen only a couple of women that this symptom occurred.

So far I have hid my pregnancy. I am not ready for the comments. I heard people say so many mean things to me. Like, wow, your pregnancy was horrible and know you don’t want to go through that again. Or I heard my sister say, now see, that it what a cute pregnant person looks like, and I heard my so called best friend tell her boyfriend how horrible it was for me and that I looked like a monster and that it didn’t even look like me. This was extremely painful. When I see all of my friends and family look so beautiful during their pregnancy, and then to know that people are comparing me to a monster.

Here is the deal, from forums such as this, I have heard these reasons for it occurring. Hormones cause some people’s face to swell, blood flow increases so it causes swelling, cartilage become softer like the pelvis and causes nose to be flatter and wider, and the fact that nasal passages can be damaged and become swollen and inflamed. Now my problem is, all pregnant women have hormones raging through there bodies, more blood volume, and all of our pelvis’s soften for delivery, but not all of us get huge wide noses. If anyone can get any information on this that is scientifically documented somewhere, please let me know. I want to know if there is anything I can do to prevent it this time. I love my son and wouldn’t change any thing about him. If it took me having a big nose to get him here than so be it, but If I can do something to stop this from happening to me, I would rather go that route. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. How can I stop worrying about my boyfriend cheating?

I’ve been with my boyfriend for 8 months now, but we’ve been good friends for 4 years. Lately, we’ve been having problems, which I am creating. I keep getting paranoid and suspicious, when I have no evidence that he’s cheating. He even left his phone in the room with me when he walked out when I was at his house, and since we’ve been together, even before then, he’s always been the type to mostly take a long time to text back. But lately it’s making me paranoid, even though I know I don’t need to be. I love him very much, and he does love me, but I keep getting worried.

I’ve told him so many times about these worries and he tells me it hurts his feelings, that he’s not cheating, that he loves me, and he doesn’t understand why I have these thoughts and feelings. So I’ve pretty much become obsessed with it. I’ve had a track record of being hurt and seeing people get hurt and being friends with people that hurt others. I personally have never been unfaithful, but I have little to no faith in monogamous relationships in this generation anymore. This guy is the real deal, we share so many of the same values, we have the same sense of humor and we just get each other. Ok so I admit I get jealous REALLY EASILY! I am upset if I don;t do the best in the class at a test. In particular with this one girl. Some questions to all Metal gear online players who DO NOT play on the NA servers(I play on the NA servers)?

I have been thinking of switching servers or purchasing the stand alone japan version or others if there is that are available because. The games community is very lacking and rude.

It’s also filled with 5 year olds that treat this game like another Cod game and spew a lot of bull crap over every little kill or this or that ect (i’m aware no game community is perfect). From what I’ve seen on youtube each otherlike many people get along better and really listen to each other rather then just rushing into the enemies and getting killed off constantly especially in team sneaking.

1:Does mgo have a better or nicer community on your servers. In other words like less people who call everyone who kills them a dirty mexican at the drop of hat or screams LAGZSWITCHORZ! all the time…
2: Do you think its worth it to buy the stand alone copy for a full game price?
3:I’ve heard it’s way more popular of a game in other areas is that true?
4: If I were to buy the game and play on say the japan server or something. Would it be hard for me to communicate with the other players or can you switch the chat to your language?

can someone help me with my monologue?

so ive asked this question and applied what people have told me. my question is, am i taking on too much with this monolouge? what parts are unnecessary/i should cut out? how do i make the first half less straight forward? this is my first monolouge so im not sure how to write them.

I have a somewhat large family with a very wide variety of interests…

I personally am substitute elementary school teacher and a competitive horse back rider and horse trainer, I dance as well and assist with beginners dance classes

My husband is a middle school history teacher and basketball coach as well as coaching a traveling basketball team (that almost always makes it to nationals!)

My oldest daughter is 8, she loves riding horses and dancing as well as playing basketball just like my husband and I (she is like a well balanced version of us put together), but she is mostly into Fashion and such, she is always worried about if her outfits match perfectly or if her hair looks good, she is quite the actor and singer as well.

My second oldest, the twins, are 6 they are polar opposites of each other they are both girls, born 16 mins apart, the older of the 2 is all about animals of any kind, she follows in my horse riding footsteps but has taken a HUGE interest in dogs she could care less about sports or anything girly, the younger could care less about animals, she will rarely ride our horses, and I hardly ever see her pet the dogs, but she LOVES dance, and when I say loves I mean LOVES, she dances everywhere and begs to take more dance classes, she is at the level of the average 8-9 year old at 6 years old.

the youngest (well almost) is a 3 year old boy who loves sports and playing in the dirt, he is pretty scared of the horses and will only ride our mini horse but is getting better at not being scared, but he would rather play in their poop (and has gotten into quite some trouble because of it) than be around them, he plays basketball with his dad all the time (its cute because he just runs around holding the ball and then will scream “slam dunk” and run up and put it in anything he can find (trash cans, baskets, buckets, the dogs food/water dishes…) and then take it out and hand it to my husband and go “you turn daddy” and make him do the same

anyway, I am currently pregnant with another boy and due in October.

we are looking for something to do this week (my husband and i are both taking a long weekend Thursday through Monday) we cant afford a real vacation (like going to the beach or something, costs too much in gas and i was 26 horses to feed and care for still) and live in central Ohio. we are going to the pool on thursday and going to the zoo on Saturday but need something fun for all of us for friday, sunday and monday, that ALL of my kids will enjoy (from the girly girl to the animal lover to the ballerina, to the down and dirty guy) and that my husband and I (keep in mind i am pregnant so a family bike ride or something like that is out of the question) can enjoy and participate in as well
my kids sit at home playing games and such everyday, usually with me or my husband (i work my own hours in the summer as a horse trainer and he coaches a basketball camp every morning from 8-12 and works with his travel team on Mondays and thursdays from 7pm-8:30pm) so we see them a lot and do alot at home, we are doing things the kids don’t always get to do, because we will ALL be free to do what ever we would like!

Ok I went on a the 3rd date w/ a guy this weekend. We went to club that we met at a few weeks ago. We’ve known each other for about 2 years. But we really didn’t start talking until about a month ago. He sits behind me in english class and he asked his cousin (who is also one of my friends) for my cell number. He’d text me every once in a while and just be like “hey whats up”. It was all small talk though. So we’ve slowly became friends over the past month. So last night he texted me and did his usual “hey whats up”. I responded back. Im 15 and I like this 17 year old guy I go to school with who is a bit cooler than I am… Im just wondering How I could know if he really likes me back. We sit Sort of in the same area at lunch and I always kind of catch him staring at me but then looking away quickly when I look.

The guy I like stares constantly at me yet when I look at him he looks away; he’s sent some very flirty glances at me; he finds ways to walk next to me, his best friend began talking to me; his sister brings up random facts. I have had several friends tell me how much he always looks at me, smiles when I do something, etc. He gave me a hug and left his hand on my lower waist a long time. But he never says much. He finds all these times to stand by me; several times it has felt like he’s going to say something important, but we’re interrupted or he doesn’t say it.
